This is our first-generation (V1) model, designed with looser strap buckles and side-release buckle clips. Our latest V2 uses a more secure strap buckle and button-style buckle clips that is more user-friendly. If your chicken is extra wiggly or you want an easier time fastening (especially if you have bigger fingers), we recommend choosing V2.

These chicken diapers are made from the same soft fabric used in baby clothes. They feature a spacious, waterproof poop pouch and adjustable straps for a secure, comfortable fit. These diapers are so popular that they have sold out 5+ times on Amazon!

4 sizes (S, M, L, XL) to fit all chicken sizes and breeds (refer to size chart image for reference): 

  • Size Small is ideal for small-sized bantam chickens weighing 0.5-2 lbs. Suggested breeds: Sebright Bantam, Miniature Silkie. (Note: Silkies typically wear size Medium)
  • Size Medium is ideal for bantam chickens that weigh 3-4 lbs. Suggested breeds: Silkie, Ameraucana, Ancona, Ayam, Leghorn, Polish, Sumatra, Old English, Modern Game. (*size up if your chicken is bigger)
  • Size Large is ideal for standard-sized chickens that weigh 5-11 lbs. Suggested chicken breeds: Ancona, Andalusian, Australorp, Brahma, Buckeye, Cochin, Delaware, Frizzle, Holland, Jersey, Leghorn, N Hampshire Red, Orpington, Plymouth Rock, Polish, Rhode Island, Larger Silkie, Sussex, Wyandotte, Cornish, Frizzle. 
  • Size Extra Large is ideal for larger chickens/roosters that weigh 12+ lbs.

Fabric and Care

All Uni Infinity diapers feature a soft, breathable inner lining made from a cotton-linen blend for comfort and durability.
The waterproof poop pouch is crafted from high-quality vegan leather to ensure easy cleaning and long-lasting protection.

Outer Shell Materials (varies by pattern):

  • 100% Bamboo Rayon: Pink Floral, Black Floral, Mint Floral, Blue Polka Dots
  • 100% Cotton: Lavender Polka Dots, British Plaid, Yellow Rubber Ducks
  • Polyester Blend: Red and Black Plaid, Stars USA (these fabrics offer added water resistance compared to the others)

Although the diapers are machine washable, we recommend hand washing to maintain fabric quality and extend the life of your diaper.

Tips

  • The diaper should sit just below your chicken’s crop.
  • The poop pouch should be positioned directly under the tail.
  • If the diaper feels too long, fold and pin the front portion down for a better fit.
  • If the straps are not long enough, strap extenders are available as an add-on in our store. Please check your buckle type to ensure compatibility before purchasing.

I have a bantam chicken - what size should I order?

Bantam chickens are typically size S or M. Typically sebright bantams and miniature silkies wear size S, while bantam silkies wear size M.

I have a bantam silkie - what size should I order?

Bantam silkies typically wear size M. Refer to size chart pictures for reference. If you are still unsure, feel free to send us a photo of your chicken and we can recommend a size for you!

I have a rescue chicken (unsure of breed), who is about 5lbs - what size should I order?

If your chicken is a standard sized chicken (not a bantam), size L will typically fit. Rounder chickens might need a size XL. Refer to pictures in our size chart for reference. If you are still unsure, feel free to send us a photo and we will recommend a size for you!

I have a standard sized chick - should I order size S/M instead of L?

You could, but chicks grow quickly. Typically by 8-12 weeks, they will require a size L diaper. Refer to the pictures in the size chart for reference. If you are still unsure, send us a photo and we will help recommend the correct size!

I’m still unsure about my chicken’s size. Can you help?

Absolutely! Just email us a photo of your chicken (ideally with something in the background for scale), along with its breed and weight, and we’ll help you pick the right size.

How do I know I chose the right size?

Make sure the Uni Infinity logo on the chest fabric sits just below your chicken’s crop. If the logo falls between the legs, it’s time to size up. The straps should feel snug but not tight—if even the loosest setting is too tight, you can use strap extenders, which are available to purchase in our store. Finally, the poop pouch should fully cover the vent; if it doesn’t, get the next size up.

How do I put the diaper on correctly?

You should have received an instruction manual with your order. If you didn’t get one or have misplaced it, just reach out to us, and we’ll send you a digital copy right away.

The straps should rest comfortably in your chicken’s armpits without restricting wing movement. The Uni Infinity logo should sit low on the chest, just under the crop. Ensure the poop pouch fully covers the vent to catch all droppings.

What if the poop pouch doesn't stay in place?

If the poop pouch shifts, secure the straps together just above the tail using a small clip or paper clip. This helps keep the pouch properly positioned and ensures it catches all droppings.
