This is my first-generation (V1) model, designed with looser strap adjusting buckles and side-release buckle clips. My latest V2 uses a more secure strap adjusting buckle and more user friendly button-style buckle clips. If your chicken is wiggly/active or you want an easier time fastening (especially if you have bigger fingers), I recommend choosing V2.

These chicken diapers are made from the same soft fabric used in baby clothes. They feature a spacious, waterproof poop pouch and adjustable straps for a secure, comfortable fit. These diapers are so popular that they have sold out 5+ times on Amazon!

4 sizes (S, M, L, XL) to fit all chicken sizes and breeds (refer to size chart image for reference).

 

Fabric and Care

All Uni Infinity diapers feature a soft, breathable inner lining made from a cotton-linen blend for comfort and durability.
The waterproof poop pouch is crafted from high-quality vegan leather to ensure easy cleaning and long-lasting protection.

Outer Shell Materials (varies by pattern):

  • 100% Bamboo Rayon: Pink Floral, Black Floral, Mint Floral, Blue Polka Dots
  • 100% Cotton: Lavender Polka Dots, British Plaid, Yellow Rubber Ducks
  • Polyester Blend: Red and Black Plaid, Stars USA (these fabrics offer added water resistance compared to the others)

Although the diapers are machine washable, we recommend hand washing to maintain fabric quality and extend the life of your diaper.

Tips

    • The diaper should sit just below your chicken’s crop.
    • The poop pouch should be positioned directly under the tail.
    • If the diaper feels too long, fold and pin the front portion down for a better fit.
    • If the diaper slips off the chicken's body easily or the poop pouch just would not stay over the vent, use a clip/hair clip/paper clip/safety pin/velcro strip to clip the straps together just above the chicken's tail.
    • If the straps are not long enough, strap extenders are available as an add-on in our store. Please check your buckle type to ensure compatibility before purchasing.

Not sure which size?

  • Bantam chickens are usually Small or Medium. Sebright bantams and miniature silkies typically wear Small; bantam silkies typically wear Medium.
  • Rescue chickens of unknown breed around 5 lbs are usually Large. Rounder birds may need XL.
  • Standard-sized baby chicks can start in S or M, but they grow fast — most need a Large by 8–12 weeks.
  • Between two sizes? Size up. A slightly loose diaper works; a tight one doesn't. If needed, you can fold the chest bib down and pin in place to shorten the length of the diaper.

How to check the fit

  • The Uni Infinity logo on the chest fabric should sit just below your chicken's crop. If it falls between the legs, size up.
  • The poop pouch should fully cover the vent. If it doesn't, size up.
  • Straps should feel snug but not tight, resting in the shoulder joint without restricting wing movement. If even the loosest setting is too tight, strap extenders are available.

I have a standard sized chick - should I order size S/M instead of L?

How do I know I chose the right size?

What if the poop pouch doesn't stay in place?

If the poop pouch shifts, secure the straps together just above the tail using a small clip or paper clip. This helps keep the pouch properly positioned and ensures it catches all droppings.
